The Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) in liaison with the Property & Engineering Committee organised a seminar on Earthquake Exposure in Kenya. The seminar was held on 29th July 2010 at Sarova Panafric Hotel. The seminar was attended by over 60 participants drawn from Insurance Companies.

The seminar was inaugurated by the AKI Deputy Chairman & GIC Chairman, Mr Sadasiv Mishra. In his opening remarks, Mr Mishra requested the facilitators to educate the participants on how to prepare for earthquake, mitigate risks and minimise loses through technology.
