The Marine and Aviation Technical Committee and Scheme Managers organized a successful two days seminar on 11th- 12th November 2010 at Red Court Hotel, off Mombasa Road.

The following papers were presented:-

Day One

(i) Overview –Presented by AKI and Oceanic Surveyors.
(ii) Piracy and General Average - W.E. Cox
(iii) Recoveries- W.E. Cox.

Day Two.

i. Kenya Ports Authority.
ii. Clearing & Forwarding Agents and Transporters.
iii Afternoon - visit to the African Cargo Handling Centre at the airport.

The seminar was well received by the participants.
