The Association of Kenya Insurers in conjunction with Insurance Institute of Kenya organized a joint sports day from August to end of September 2010. The purpose of the sports day was to give member companies an opportunity to interact and participate in selected sporting activities. The preliminaries kick off on 12th August 2010 for one month at Highway Secondary School off Mombasa Road. The preliminaries were for football and Volleyball. Twenty four teams participated for one and a half months.

The sports day was on Saturday 18th September 2010 at the Kenya Utalii College Sports Ground off Thika Road, Nairobi. Twenty seven teams participated.
